Randee, do you mind sending me a link to your folder of continuous texts? Thanks! By the way.. I have taught kindergarten for 34 years and I feel like finding you has put a spark in my teaching! Thank you so much for sharing all of your wonderful ideas!
I will need to email you the link to the folder, so please email me at missbusybeekindergarten@gmail.com to request it. I hear you on spicing things up after 30-some years. Learning about SoR has made my last three years a lot more interesting!
Hi! I have a folder full of Continuous Texts. I will email you the link and then you'll have access to all of them. I'm glad you decided to stick with writing. I know that at the beginning it seems the kids will never get the hang of it. Having 15 of 21 who are starting to write on their own now at this time of the year without an aide is really good! You still have a couple months to help them realize that they ARE writers and that writing is so FUN once you get the hang of it. For the other students, you can always give them the same idea/sentence to write (something they can handle). I still have a few who can't formulate ideas on their own. Teaching writing is hard work, for sure.
Morning Randee! I just watched your continuous text video using the weather themed text. Could I have a copy of that? I wasn't sure if there was a place to find all of the continuous texts that you make for the year. I've used many of your read and draw/continuous texts this year and would love to keep using the new ones you've made. I tried looking in old folders this morning but I have to get ready for school;).
On another note I e-mailed you back at the beginning of the year about my concerns with teaching writing without an aide to assist and that has proven to be a real struggle. However we are finally at a point where my kids feel brave enough to write a little on their own now. About 15/21 kids will take off and write so I am hopping around to the last 5-6 kiddos that just can't seem to get their thoughts on paper yet but we are working on it! Thanks for your advice:) HAVE A RELAXING BREAK! ~ Meghann Scheetz (from PA)

I would love the link also, if that is possible.
